## Summary

The public procurement process organised by the Scottish Government involves a Framework Agreement for Media Services, targeting various public sector bodies across Scotland. The contract's primary focus is on general public services, engaging multiple suppliers to provide a comprehensive range of media services, including print, broadcast, online, and social media coverage. With an active procurement stage as of August 2025, the agreement spans four years, structured into two main lots. Lot 1 has been awarded to Press Data Ltd, and Vuelio secured Lot 2, highlighting an open procurement method aimed at promoting economic opportunities. This contract, valued at approximately £1,500,000 GBP, signifies the Scottish Government’s commitment to achieving cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.

This opportunity opens doors for businesses specializing in media and communication services, especially those capable of delivering high-quality analyses and managing comprehensive media coverage. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) such as Press Data Ltd and Vuelio, already involved, demonstrate the competitive potential for companies of similar scale. The framework’s requirement for continuous improvement and innovative service processes is ideal for firms aiming to showcase sustainable solutions and value-driven services. Compatibility with electronic submissions and the incorporation of community benefits further enhance the potential for dynamic enterprises to contribute positively to Scottish public services while fostering local community growth.
