## Summary

The Scottish Government has initiated a tender process for 'Research and evaluation support for the Fairer Future Partnerships' under the industry category of general public services. The contracting authority, located in Glasgow, is seeking an external service provider to assist in a national evaluation programme. This programme involves working with local partners to collect, reflect, and share data to determine the programme's effectiveness in improving public service design and family outcomes. The tender is in the active stage with a closing date for submissions on 3rd December 2024 at noon, and the contract period will commence on 13th January 2025, ending on 31st March 2026. This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specializing in research, evaluation, and public service improvement consultancy to expand their operations. Companies experienced in collaborative frameworks and data management, capable of providing a structured approach to monitoring and evaluating public programmes, would be well-suited to compete. The project's scope includes the development of a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework, local partner support, data synthesis, and primary research, making it an attractive prospect for firms eager to demonstrate their expertise in driving effective public service delivery. The servicing organisation must meet specific insurance and technical criteria, including professional risk indemnity and a robust supply chain management system with prompt payment protocols.
