## Notice

Marine Directorate wishes to seek a tender for inspection of equipment and training for working at height on its four vessels.Equipment for working at height and rescue was purchased in 2019. This was standardised so each vessel had the same type/manufacturer and similar amount of equipment. The purpose of this standardisation was for crew members to maintain familiarity and competence of the safe use of said equipment, regardless of which vessel they were allocated to.The equipment has a 10 year lifespan so there is still another 5 years remaining which means that notwithstanding accidental damage, no further investment is required until 2029. This only applies to the textile items and some hardware has an indefinite lifespan and will only require replacement due to damage or corrosion.
