## Summary

Scottish Water, based out of Stepps, Glasgow, has completed the procurement process for the supply of Water Sampling Kiosks. This procurement falls under the industry category of 'Water' and encompasses locations across Scotland. The procurement method used was a selective negotiation procedure with a prior call for competition. The process included a framework agreement for the supply of modular water sampling kiosks, designed to be delivered in a factory-assembled and tested for full functionality. The relevant contract was awarded on July 22, 2024, to ID Systems UK Ltd, a large-scale supplier based in Cumbernauld. The contract is active and valued at £28,000,000 GBP. The procurement process is categorized as complete and has been subject to regulatory compliance to meet Scottish Water's requirements for accurate and reliable water quality monitoring.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses in the manufacturing and supply sectors, particularly those that can produce modular units tailored for water sampling and quality monitoring within regulatory frameworks. Companies with technical capabilities in producing high-quality, repeatable design units for environmental applications would be well-suited to compete in similar future procurements. This tender also allows businesses to scale and innovate within the infrastructure and environmental sectors, potentially leading to more extensive framework agreements and long-term business growth with major utility providers like Scottish Water.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

Framework Agreement for the supply of modular water sampling kiosks. The kiosks shall be assembled in a 'factory' environment producing tested and fully functional units of a standardised and repeatable design for delivery to site ready for off-loading to a pre-prepared foundation slab or final installation area. The Scottish Water area covers all mainland and islands of Scotland including urban and rural locations. Scottish Water retains the right to ensure complete geographical coverage from the framework. It is important that sampling kiosks are of sufficient quality to provide accurate samples for analysis and meet regulatory compliance requirements. A standard product range (a complete design with full support documentation) will be used to ensure efficient delivery of quality compliant standardised kiosks that provide a safe and effective working environment for samplers across the Scottish Water estate.. The estimated contract value is subject to annual adjustment in line with inflation.
