## Summary

The procurement process for the Scotland-wide integration support service for forced migrants was conducted by the Scottish Government, with the tender titled "Scotland wide integration support service for forced migrants." The procurement falls under the Services category and is specifically associated with general public services, as classified by COFOG. The service is intended to be delivered across the UKM region, with the Scottish Government's Buyer Office located at Atlantic Quay, Glasgow. The process progressed from the planning stage, announced in November 2024, to tendering, with submissions due by 6th May 2025. The successful contract was awarded and signed on 17th July 2025, with the Scottish Refugee Council appointed as the supplier following an open procedure method. The contract allows for a potential extension up to March 2030, with a maximum contract value set at £14,400,000.

For businesses looking to expand, particularly those in the services sector with expertise in social integration and community support, this contract offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities. Companies with experience in providing support and advisory services to migrant communities, or those aligned with Refugee Support Services, would be well-positioned. Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) particularly stand to benefit, given the project's emphasis on community engagement and accessibility to regional services. Additionally, organisations that prioritise Fair Work Practices, including committing to the real Living Wage, can leverage this tender to showcase their ethical business standards whilst enhancing their network and reach within the public sector domain.
