PLEASE REFER TO THE DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD - North Lanarkshire Council is pleased to offer to the market this site suitable for a residential or commercial development. - Well positioned within the established neighbourhood to the north of Motherwell town centre, just off Bellshill Road. - Primary School adjacent to the site. - Offers over 75,000.00 are invited for this area of land. - The Council intends to waive VAT exemption therefore VAT will be payable. Any price submitted at the closing date will be taken to be exclusive of VAT. - Prospective bidders should make their own enquiries to establish the availability of service connections for their proposed development. - Bidders should be mindful of the access arrangements which require to be put in place for the property at 175 Milton Street. No future deductions in the submitted price to cover this or any of the requirements detailed in the Design and Technical guidance note. - The closing date for offers is 19th Feb 2025. Any submission that does not meet the requirements detailed in these particulars could be excluded from the bid review process. Offers arriving after the closing date/time will not be considered. - All bidders must be registered with Public Contracts Scotland (https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk ) as a "Supplier" (this is a free service and can be concluded within 10 minutes of logging on to the site). This portal allows contracting authorities to invite prospective bids to be submit electronically via the website's secure tender postbox. - Once registered, you will be able to search the site by using the "search notices" tab. From here you can download the supplementary information and upload your bid submission. - When uploading your response, please be aware of the speed of your internet connection, your system configuration and general web traffic that may impact on the time required to complete the transaction. Uploading and submitting of your bid must be completed by the final submission deadline. The Council will only accept bid submissions made via the Public Contracts Scotland Portal. No other medium will be accepted. The Council does not undertake to accept the highest offer or indeed, any offer received. - Each party shall be responsible for their own costs. The purchaser will be responsible for registration dues, Land and Buildings Transaction Tax and any VAT thereon. - The Council will provide an application form which should be completed and submitted through the Public Contracts Scotland Portal. Details of the intended development supported by initial design drawings should be submitted with the completed application form. These may be in the form of initial sketch proposals. - The area of land is accessible for viewing at any time.
