## Summary

Maryhill Housing Association is planning to renew its Reactive Maintenance Contract, which covers a wide range of repair services for their housing stock in Maryhill, Glasgow. This procurement, classified under "Housing and community amenities," falls within the "services" category and is currently in the planning stage with the announcement dated 16 December 2024. The contract is significant, valued at £7,100,000, and the new contractor is expected to commence services in October 2025. Key dates include a future notice on 1 April 2025, and a "Meet the Buyer" event scheduled for the new year, where potential bidders can learn more about the opportunity.

This tender offers substantial business growth opportunities, particularly for multi-trade contractors capable of managing a diverse array of repairs including joinery, electrical, and mechanical services. Given Maryhill HA's extensive property portfolio and the estimated 1,000 call-outs per month, businesses with strong planning, management capabilities, and IT integration for job monitoring will find this tender especially appealing. The procurement process will be competitive, focusing on quality and price, with community benefits and fair working practices as key considerations. Businesses interested in this opportunity should prepare for a detailed bid process and note the potential requirement for TUPE regarding current operatives.
