## Summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has completed the procurement process for the "Acute Financial Inclusion Services" to support patients in improving financial stability by addressing issues such as income maximisation, expenditure reduction, and debt alleviation. This procurement, classified under the health industry category, focuses on services delivery at key healthcare institutions like Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Queen Elizabeth University Hospitals, Gartnavel Hospital Campus, and Leverndale Hospital. The tender process was initiated on 24th January 2025, and the financial agreements have been active since 7th April 2025, with a total value of £220,000 allocated for services delivery. The procurement was strategically designed to foster organisations that provide financial inclusion services, with specific consideration given to vulnerable groups.

This procurement presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialising in financial support and advisory services. With organisations like GEMAP Scotland Ltd and Money Matters Money Advice Centre securing awards for service delivery, SMEs in this field have a chance to expand their portfolio by contributing towards crucial community services. These services not only address immediate financial challenges but also encompass health-related financial counselling, thereby tapping into the broader scope of impact on public health well-being.
