The Contracting Authority seeks to award a contract to a single supplier to supply, deliver, install and commission a Bio-inert Ultra-High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) system at the University of Strathclyde. A single supplier is required to carry out all aspects of the Contract. The Contracting Authority will require the successful supplier to fulfil the below non-exhaustive list of requirements: The offered system must be a high-performance liquid chromatography system 1 The offered system must be fully bio-inert/biocompatible or similar to minimise absorption and chelation of biomolecules to the flow path 2 The system must be capable of withstanding high concentration salt mobile phases commonly used for SEC, HIC and IEX chromatography 3 The system must be capable of pressures up to at least 1000 bar 4 The system must include a two-channel binary pump 5 The binary pump must be capable of delivering flow rates from at least 0.1 to 2 mL/min 6 In relation to the above question, please specify the offered systems flow rate and pressure capabilities

Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the successful Tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of supplies or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations. The Contracting Authority may at it's sole discretion exercise this option.
