## Summary

North Ayrshire Council is planning a procurement process for the annual service and maintenance of technical equipment and Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems within eight of its establishments, which include six academies, one special needs school, and a building services depot in North Ayrshire (UKM93). The tender, titled "Service & Maintenance of Technical Equipment and LEV Systems," falls under the general public services industry category and is currently in the planning stage, with an anticipated tender advertisement date of 24th February 2025. Interested suppliers are encouraged to express their interest by 7th February 2025, and the contract is expected to commence on 30th June 2025, running until 29th June 2028 with an optional extension of up to 24 months.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in the servicing and maintenance of technical machinery and LEV systems. Companies with expertise in woodworking, metalworking machinery, and compliance with LEV regulations such as HSG258 will be well-suited to bid for this contract. The project encompasses ongoing remedial and repair work, useful for businesses looking to provide comprehensive maintenance services within the educational and public sector.
