### Procurement Information

ACE have historically had issues sourcing suppliers that can provide staff with the required skill sets. Their previous sole supplier were unable to fulfill their requirements in full, which lead to the need to contract with additional suppliers in 2022 to ease the pressure on the incumbent and also ensure ACE could recruit and maintain capacity of staff. These arrangements need to be renewed quickly to allow ACE to continue to be able to operate. Resourcing issues within the strategic procurement department have meant that the new recruitment framework was not procured in time to succeed the current arrangements, and as such these must be extended. Resource is now available to complete the larger procurement, so this NCA will be the only arrangement in this interim period. ACE have a duty of care to our staff who are currently working double shifts and on rest days to cover for vacancies and absences as a result of ACE not being able to access agency staff. It is imperative that these scenarios are avoided. Quickhire are an event specific recruitment agency that can provide specialist staff to the Universities hotels.
