## Summary

Stirling Council, a local government authority in Stirling, has finalised the award for the replacement of a boiler system at Lower Polmaise under the title "Award of Boiler Replacement for Lower Polmaise, SC2425-0168". The contract, classified under the "works" category, involves building installation with specific focus on heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning, and was awarded to Richard Irvin FM Limited. This procurement, valued at £112,523, falls under the Scotland Excel Framework for Property Maintenance & Refurbishment, specifically Lot 11 for Renewables. The project, located in Stirling, is set to begin in early May and is expected to last five weeks. The process has concluded in the 'award' stage, following a mini competition procurement method.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in building installations and specifically those with expertise in boiler and renewable energy technologies. Firms capable of providing heat pump and biomass boiler solutions stand to benefit from similar projects, particularly within public sector contracts where sustainability and efficiency are prioritised. Companies like Richard Irvin FM Limited, already recognised in this domain, have demonstrated the competitive edge required for success in such bids. Businesses looking to expand in the property maintenance and refurbishment sector, particularly within Scotland, may find engaging in future mini competitions under frameworks like Scotland Excel advantageous for growth.
