The site is found at grid reference NC 515 396, and sits between around 160 m and 246 m above sea level to the east of Loch Meadie, along the Altnaharra to Loch Hope road. The area has previously been cut with artificial drains. The total extent of artificial drains is 21.86km. There is a further 595m of gullies and 1.19km of haggs to be restored.
