## Summary

The framework not only assures consistent demand but also aligns with governmental objectives of securing sensitive information, providing businesses with the potential for sustained growth through continuous collaboration under government frameworks.

## Notice

### Lot Information

Lot 1

CheckPoint Encryption forces all removable media (USBs, CDs, external hard drives etc) to be encrypted and password protected to protect sensitive data that is shared either internally or with external partners. Procurement supported this renewal in September 2019 for the licencing and support of the Check Point Collaborative Enterprise software. For the renewal in 2020, there was a need to upgrade from R73/R77 to R80, which included the deployment of a new server. All clients were then moved onto a E81/82 version. We have subsequently renewed this contract for the years 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Contract is awarded to the single supplier on the Scottish Government Software Value Added Reseller Framework.
