This opportunity is for Leswalt to Stranraer Active Travel Route - Design Stages 3 & 4 to take forward the Concept Design for a new active travel route between the village of Leswalt and the town of Stranraer. This work will involve completion of the remaining Design Stages (Developed Design Stage 3 and Technical Design Stage 4). The design must adhere to the principles set out in Cycling by Design (2021).

Working in partnership with SWestrans the regional transport partnership, The Network Strategy and Road Safety Team are developing these projects using Transport Scotland's Tier 1 funding. Consultant to deliver the design stages 3-4, developed design, and technical design for the active travel route of Leswalt to Stranraer.. Should this contract proceed to tender, it is intended to procure through an Open Tender Procedure on PCS and PCS-Tender.
