### Procurement Information

Following the award of the original contract (Ref: DEC495431), the Digital Identity Beta Project the work to develop and support this has continued for longer than first planned. This has led to the Service Provider of the services being required for longer than was contracted for. Given the critical stage of development and ongoing support the crucial role of the Service Provider along with the knowledge and experience gained, a change of supplier at this stage would unnecessarily delay the entire Digital Identity Project. Knowledge and experience would be lost which could result in further delay to the project and add associated additional costs. Reliance on Regulation 33(1)(b)(ii) is therefore satisfied in this case.
