### Procurement Information

School of GeoSciences currently uses CAMECA IMS 7f-GEO to provide an analytical service for the Earth and Environmental scientists in the UK under the management of NERC. Continuous service contract are required to ensure operational of the instruments. The existing instruments and service contract were procured and installed in 2018 are required to be renewed for 12 months. To ensure the continuous service of the instruments, 12 months contract renewal is required. All replacement parts would need to be ordered from the original supplier as they are the sole supplier. The 12 months service contract renewal will support the instrument in operation and continue provide service to UK scientists.
