## Summary

Museums Galleries Scotland (MGS), acting as the central purchasing body, has launched an open tender to source experienced facilitators for anti-ableism workshops as part of their Delivering Change project aimed at the museum sector. The project encompasses the Museum Transformers and Museum Activists programmes, running from April 2024 to December 2026. The workshops will principally occur across Scotland, with facilitators expected to operate both online and at various physical locations. The procurement process is in the tender stage, with submissions being accepted until 21st May 2025, signalling the commencement of the award period. Interested parties are invited to submit their bids in English, adhering to the open procedure procurement method for this services contract, valued at £1,666.00.

This tender presents growth opportunities for businesses specialising in educational services, specifically those with expertise in facilitating participatory workshops addressing social issues. It is ideally suited for pairs of facilitators with experience or interest in promoting inclusivity within cultural and recreational sectors. Successful bidders will join a curated bank of facilitators, allowing them to leverage their skills in a meaningful and impactful manner, thereby expanding their professional network and exposure within the museum community. Such collaborations not only enhance facilitator portfolios but also foster industry connections across the United Kingdom, especially for those keen on engaging with systemic change and inclusivity efforts.
