## Summary

The tendering process commenced on 28th May 2025, with a deadline for submission set for 30th June 2025. This contract, categorised under services, utilises an open procedure and is valued at GBP67,000. The main delivery location for project evaluation activities is SRUC Barony Campus, Parkgate, Dumfries. The process has evolved through various stages, commencing with planning in early May and culminating in awarding the contract to Wavehill Ltd on the 21st August 2025, with the contract to be active from 14th August 2025.

This tender represents an excellent growth opportunity for businesses in the consultancy and evaluation sectors, particularly those with expertise in higher education and research consultancy. The project focuses on a thorough assessment of the DDC's impact on economic growth and technology innovation within the dairy industry, making it an ideal fit for firms skilled in project evaluation and strategic consultancy. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with electronic submission capabilities would be well-suited to compete for similar opportunities, as this process attracted multiple electronic bids, all from SMEs, indicating a competitive landscape favorable to such entities.
