## Summary

The Maryhill Housing Association, based in Glasgow, is in the planning stage of a tender process titled "Maryhill Housing Association - M&E Maintenance." This procurement seeks to maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including fans, ventilation equipment, fire prevention gear, and water tanks. The procurement falls under the "Housing and community amenities" industry category, with a planned communication of a future notice by 2nd June 2025. The contract is initially planned for three years, with the potential for two one-year extensions, depending on performance and service quality. Estimated at £250,000, this contract will assist in the upkeep of approximately 3,000 properties, which might increase as the association's development programme progresses.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in mechanical and electrical maintenance services, particularly those experienced with housing and community amenities. Companies specialising in ventilation, fire prevention, and water system maintenance will find this an ideal contract to expand their portfolio. With a maximum potential duration of five years, this procurement provides a substantial chance for sustained business growth and collaboration with a respected housing association in West Glasgow. The competitive process will favour businesses that can demonstrate both high-quality service delivery and adaptability to match the housing association's future developmental aspirations.
