## Summary

The Registers of Scotland, located in Edinburgh, has completed the award stage of a public procurement process for IT temporary and interim staff, focusing on roles related to developer automation. This procurement falls under the category of supply services of personnel, specifically temporary staff. The process was handled as a direct award under the Scottish Government's collaborative framework agreement. This contract covers a 12-month duration, with the possibility of extensions. The successful contractor, Venesky Brown Ltd, will need to observe Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks, with the end date of the contract set for 7th December 2026. The arrangement involves hybrid working conditions within the UK and offers a guidance rate costing the Registers of Scotland up to £525 per day.

This tender opens opportunities for IT staffing firms that can supply qualified developers with expertise in automation, offering a structured and financially lucrative arrangement. Companies adept in navigating framework agreements and handling BPSS requirements will find this tender advantageous, particularly those with a strong quality of candidates over pricing, as the award criteria heavily favour the quality of the interim worker. The opportunity also supports growth for businesses capable of providing services within the set rate guidance and operating flexibly in a hybrid working environment. This tender could help businesses reinforce their presence in the public sector by demonstrating capability and reliability in meeting specific government IT staffing needs.
