## Summary

Museums Galleries Scotland, located in Edinburgh, has awarded a contract to ShobaBrown for the creation of an anti-oppression training module tailored to the museum sector. This initiative is part of the Delivering Change Leadership Strand, set to run from January 2026 to September 2026. Classified under the recreation, culture and religion category, the project seeks to advance leadership in museums through innovative training on anti-oppressive principles. The procurement process employed an open procedure, culminating in an award status as of 23 September 2025, preceded by the signing of the contract on 17 September 2025.

This procurement provides unique opportunities for businesses with expertise in creating transformative educational content in the field of anti-oppression and equity, diversity and inclusion. With a focus on sophisticated understanding of anti-oppressive leadership, the project appeals to organisations capable of partnering effectively to drive change. While specific to Scotland, the tender was open to international bidders, drawing multiple submissions including electronic and SME bids, thus broadening the scope for engagement and collaboration. Ideal candidates include businesses skilled in coaching, facilitation, and intersectionality principles, positioning them favorably for enriching the museum sector’s leadership capabilities.
