## Summary

The Common Services Agency, known as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), is undertaking a planned procurement process on behalf of NHS Grampian to achieve sustainability and carbon reduction targets through innovative technological solutions. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage and focuses on the Health category. Key locations include the Foresterhill Health Campus, Cornhill Hospital, and the University of Aberdeen in the UKM region. The process invites expressions of interest by 22nd August 2025, with a Supplier Information Day scheduled for 1st September 2025 at Foresterhill Health Campus, serving as a prelude to formal procurement activities.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in renewable energy solutions and technological innovation to collaborate with NHS Grampian. Companies with a robust track record in delivering fully funded, innovative, and large-scale projects such as those involving Battery Energy Storage Systems, Solar Photovoltaic systems, and electric vehicle infrastructure will find this opportunity promising. Businesses experienced in Power Purchase Agreements and those familiar with public sector projects, especially with a minimum of five years’ trading history, are well-suited to compete. This initiative not only aims to reduce energy costs and generate income but also aligns with broader sustainability goals, making it a potentially lucrative and impactful venture for participating companies.
