## Summary

The Clackmannanshire Council issued an open procedure tender titled "Creative Therapeutic Interventions for Children (CTIfC) Music Therapy," focusing on services within the UKM72 region, specifically in Alloa. The contract aims to support primary aged children with mental health and emotional needs through music therapy, emphasizing complex and additional support needs. The procurement reached the award and contract stage as of 4th August 2025, with contracts already signed with Inscape Therapies Limited. The tender was part of a broader strategy to enhance mental health services for young individuals, conducted via an open procurement process and covered by GPA standards.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in music therapy services, particularly those equipped to support children's mental and emotional wellbeing in educational settings. Companies such as small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that can offer qualified, HCPC-registered music therapists with mobility capabilities to work across schools in Clackmannanshire would thrive in such contracts. These contracts, with the prospect of up to two 12-month extensions, allow for potential long-term engagements, making it attractive for businesses looking to stabilize or expand their presence in therapeutic education services.
