UHI Inverness is seeking to appoint a single supplier for the supply, delivery and installation of 5 Virtual Reality (VR) / Augmented Reality (AR) welding simulators. The system will utilise AR and/or VR to simulate real-world welding scenarios, providing an immersive training experience. It will allow students to practice without the material waste associated with traditional welding training. The AR/VR environment will provide a safe training space, reducing the risks of injuries and costs related to physical materials and equipment wear.
