## Summary

Crown Estate Scotland is currently in the planning stage of a tender process titled "Grid Constraints Consultancy", focused on procuring specialised services in the energy market sector. The project is specifically tied to assessing and advising on grid constraint impacts, with a particular emphasis on offshore wind assets and the modernisation of the UK's electricity transmission system. Located in Edinburgh, within the UK region, this procurement falls under the industry category of estate management. Critical dates to note include the publication of documents on 28th July 2025, and interested parties must submit their questionnaires by 12:00 noon on 4th August 2025, with further notices projected for 15th August 2025. The procurement method involves commissioning a consultant for this estimated £40,000 project, aiming to complete the consultancy in two phases.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in energy market consultancy, particularly those with expertise in data analysis, grid constraints, and offshore wind energy. Companies that can deliver detailed assessment reports and provide ad-hoc support on a call-off basis will find this opportunity particularly beneficial. Moreover, businesses with a proven track record in policy advisory and impact assessment in the energy sector can leverage this contract to expand their service portfolio and solidify their presence in the growing market of sustainable energy solutions. By engaging with this project, firms can align themselves with the UK's net zero and power decarbonisation targets, establishing a foothold in future-forward energy initiatives.
