## Summary

The Common Services Agency, also known as NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), is inviting applications for the establishment of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) specifically for Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPA). This procurement falls under the health industry category and is situated in the UKM region, specifically at all NHS Scotland sites. The value of the tender is set at £140 million, and the procurement method employed is a selective, restricted procedure. The procurement is currently at the tender stage, with electronic submissions being facilitated through the Public Contracts Scotland platform. Interested suppliers are required to submit their applications by 5th September 2025, with the DPS taking effect from 9th September 2025 to 6th September 2030, potentially subject to extensions at the authority's discretion.

This initiative presents significant opportunities for businesses specialised in providing renewable energy solutions, aiming to align with NHS Scotland's sustainability goals for decarbonising the NHSS estate. The DPS allows for ongoing competition, making it particularly advantageous for experienced suppliers in the renewable energy sector. Businesses with capabilities in delivering long-term energy contracts, possessing the necessary financial liabilities and technical capacities, are well-suited to compete in this process. Additionally, as the DPS supports mini-competitions for call-off contracts, it ensures continuous engagement and potential growth for successful suppliers over the contract duration.
