## Summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is actively seeking contractors for its "Furniture Removal, Storage, Design and Move Management Framework Agreement." This tender encompasses services across general public services in Edinburgh, categorised under CPV codes such as 63120000 and 79934000. This framework agreement, with an estimated value of 4.39 million GBP, spans multiple lots and is expected to commence in May 2026 for a four-year period. The procurement is at the tender stage, with an open procurement method detailed as an open procedure. The deadline for submissions is 23rd February 2026, at 12:00 PM. The framework does not include any option to extend and aims to appoint several contractors to fulfil various service needs.

This framework presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in furniture removal, storage, disposal, and move management services. The invitation is particularly suitable for firms with expertise in managing large-scale furniture logistics and those capable of delivering temporary accommodation services or design and advisory capacities for relocations. The framework's multi-lot structure allows businesses of varying sizes and specialities to bid on appropriately matching lots. With the potential involvement of organisations such as the NHS and Police Scotland, this tender could lead to substantial growth and visibility for participating businesses due to the diverse service areas and the likely frequency of service demands under this public service umbrella.
