## Summary

North Ayrshire Council is in the planning stage of a public procurement process, seeking an external training provider to deliver various Health & Safety courses, such as IOSH Managing Safely and Risk Assessment, which are essential for its Directorates and Services. The procurement is classified under the services category and falls within the location of UKM93. The Council has allocated a budget of £330,500 GBP for this initiative. Potential providers are expected to offer face-to-face or tutor-led virtual classrooms, with the flexibility of hosting at either the training provider's or the Council's venues. The notice for this tender is currently planned to transition to the tender stage by 1st October 2025, thus businesses should prepare to submit proposals that align with these requirements.

This tender offers a promising opportunity for businesses specialising in health and safety training, particularly those with capabilities to deliver accredited IOSH courses. Companies able to provide comprehensive risk assessment training, including practical templates, will be highly competitive. The opportunity is ideal for training providers with established facilities in the UK, particularly those with the capability to offer flexible training delivery modes. Engaging in this contract can enhance a business’s portfolio, expand their clientele within the public sector, and offer sustained growth through recurrent training demands based on the Council’s employment dynamics.
