## Summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, serving as the buying organisation, is in the planning stages for a tender titled “Mobile Community Diagnostics Service.” This procurement, categorized under the health industry, targets the provision of a comprehensive mobile diagnostics service capable of supporting x-ray, ultrasound, and in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) within a single vehicle. The service is intended to facilitate faster diagnostics delivery in various community settings, including residences and care homes, with a focus on low emission zones and carbon-zero applicability. Interested parties must register by 2nd September 2025. The procurement phase is expected to advance dialogue with potential vendors post-deadline as part of market engagement. Locations covered include regions UKM81 and UKM82 within the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde jurisdiction.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in medical diagnostics equipment, particularly those capable of providing mobile and integrated diagnostic solutions. Companies adept at designing compact, efficient vehicle-based diagnostics with high connectivity and interoperability according to HL7 data exchange standards will find this tender particularly relevant. The requirement for end-to-end acceptance testing and swift engineering support offers an opening for firms with robust service and support infrastructures. Vendors with innovations in carbon-neutral transport solutions and rapid report turnaround capabilities stand to capture a substantial market share within the health sector in Scotland.

It must have an all-in-one solution with connectivity with a native tele-diagnostics self-contained platform covering plain film and cross-sectional reporting and be interoperable with Board systems using HL7 standards for data exchange. Any vendor must provide full end-to-end acceptance testing with the Health Board before go-live, including validation of equipment, workflows, and connectivity. Local engineering support must be available within 120 minutes of call-out and have an equipment contingency plan delivered within 24 hours should a fault be reported. The Prior Information Notice is for the purpose of market engagement to initiate dialogue on the requirement listed above. Interested Parties should note their interest on the Prior Information Notice prior to the deadline of September 2nd 2025. NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde will then initiate dialogue with the interested parties.
