## Summary

Glasgow City Council is launching a tender titled "The Provision of Services for Maintenance and Repair of Council Fleet Diesel Fuel Systems" within the 'General public services' industry category. This tender seeks bids for the maintenance and emergency repair of diesel fuel systems, specifically targeting diesel fuel hardware and the Jigsaw Fuel Management System. The contract, valued at £192,000, will cover fuel delivery and management systems at various council fuel locations across Glasgow (UKM82 region), lasting from 2nd December 2025 to 1st December 2029. Currently at the tender stage with an Open procedure, the final bid submission deadline is set for 20th October 2025. Essential submission methods include electronic submission, with bidding done mainly in English.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in fleet maintenance services, particularly those with expertise in diesel and fuel management systems. It is well-suited for companies with proven experience in servicing and repairing diesel-related hardware. Given the Council's handling of approximately 5.5 million litres of annual diesel across eighteen fuel sites, businesses capable of delivering both scheduled service and emergency repairs can considerably leverage this contract to secure long-term business growth. Companies must ensure they meet financial and technical qualifications, including ensuring insurance and highlighting relevant past experiences, to be competitive in this procurement process.
