## Notice

South Lanarkshire Council has invested in one of the market leading web secure gateway products, Forcepoint Secure Web Gateway (Triton AP WEB) edition which provides South Lanarkshire Council cyber-attack protection and web filtering services. This product is now end of life and was superseded by Forcepoint One - Web Security Edition in 2022. We agreed to migrate to this new solution to ensure a seamless transition to a supported system and minimum disruption to the council's IT Systems. The current contract - SLC/FC/23/050 for Forcepoint One Web Security Licences- expires on 01 October 2024 and must be renewed to ensure Council has continued cyber-attack protection and web filtering services.

South Lanarkshire Council has invested in one of the market leading web secure gateway products, Forcepoint Secure Web Gateway (Triton AP WEB) edition which provides South Lanarkshire Council cyber-attack protection and web filtering services. This product is now end of life and was superseded by Forcepoint One - Web Security Edition in 2022. We agreed to migrate to this new solution to ensure a seamless transition to a supported system and minimum disruption to the council's IT Systems. The current subscription of the Forcepoint One Web Security Edition end on the 30/09/2023. therefore, to ensure continued protection against cyber-attacks we require this contract.

### Procurement Information

The Procurement Service then identified that the supplier, Softcat sits within the following framework: Framework: Crown Commercial Service (CCS) RM1557.13 G-Cloud 13 Lot: 2 Cloud Software Period: 9 November 2022 - 8 November 2023 CCS established the above framework via a procurement process which was fully compliant throughout with the requirements of the procurement legislation, in particular the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 and the European Union Public Procurement Directive. As per the G Cloud 13 Buyer guide, the client provided details of their requirements. A search on GCloud 13 was conducted by the Procurement Service by adding key words as filters to drill down the suppliers able to meet the requirement in order to identify the most economically advantageous supplier. Details of the search is saved within the contract file within GCloud 13 which provides a full audit trail of the tender process.
