## Summary

The South Lanarkshire Council has successfully completed a procurement process involving the provision of Oracle Fusion Workforce Scheduling Implementation. This procurement falls under the industry category of general public services and is located within the UKM95 region, specifically targeting the Hamilton area. The procurement method used was an open procedure, resulting in a direct award contract drawn from the G Cloud 14 Framework Agreement RM1557.14 by Crown Commercial Services. The contract period spans from 18 August 2025 to 31 March 2026, with the procurement stage now having progressed from the award to the contract phase. The buyer, South Lanarkshire Council, is based in Hamilton and is primarily focused on leveraging the system for the benefit of South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture sites.

This tender offers significant business growth opportunities for companies specialising in cloud infrastructure solutions, particularly those adept in implementing Oracle Fusion systems. Given that this project was awarded without prior publication of a call for competition, business entities that are part of national frameworks such as the G Cloud 14 stand in a promising position to compete for similar future opportunities. Large-scale enterprises that can deliver comprehensive cloud support services, like Mastek Systems Company Ltd, which was awarded the contract, are particularly well-suited for tenders of this nature. The implementation of this workforce scheduling product is crucial for businesses looking to enhance their technological service portfolios and to engage with public sector projects in the UK.
