## Summary

The procurement process, initiated by Scottish Natural Heritage, focuses on the manufacture, supply, and installation of timber signage for Scotland's National Nature Reserves. The project is situated in Inverness, Scotland, and falls under the environmental protection category. Currently, the process is at the tender stage, with an ID of PP-1417, utilising an open procedure. Key dates include the tender submission deadline, which has been extended to 12th March 2026, and the opening of bids scheduled for 5th March 2026. This framework agreement aims to replace and install new bilingual English/Gaelic timber signage across various reserves, supporting a rolling programme over four years, with an estimated annual requirement of 50-100 signs.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for business growth, particularly for companies specialising in high-quality timber products, signage manufacturing, and installation services, equipped to deliver in remote or island locations. Suppliers with capabilities in CAD design, sustainable sourcing, and bilingual artwork preparation would be well-suited to compete. The framework allows for subcontracting, enabling businesses to form partnerships and expand their network. With a substantial contract value and the potential for sustainable long-term engagement, interested suppliers can utilise this opportunity to demonstrate innovation and capacity to meet stringent environmental and quality standards.
