Drain blocking project within bog woodland habitat at RSPB Abernethy, Nethy Bridge. Work to comprise of timber, plastic and machine work to complete peatland restoration work.

Our aim is to block a network of drainage ditches in forested areas around the Abernethy reserve. These ditches are historically for draining the land for forestry and grazing purposes, large areas of bog woodland are being drained and the aim is to restore these area back to functioning bog habitat.
