## Summary

The contracting process initiated by the Scottish Government involved awarding a contract for "Award of Small Vessel Storage and Fuelling (MS-P-0427)" with a procurement focus on storage services and ship refuelling services. It pertained to the Marine Directorate's Inshore Protection Programme, requiring facilities for storing and fuelling small vessels across various locations, primarily in Largs. The procurement reached the award stage on 28 February 2026, with Largs Yacht Haven Ltd selected as the supplier. This process falls under the services category and involves an active contract with a total value of £48,510.12 GBP. The specifics of the tender highlighted services essential to the Marine Directorate's operational needs, underlining a critical stage in safeguarding marine operations.

Such a tender presents lucrative opportunities for businesses specialising in marine logistics and facilities management to secure significant government contracts. Companies with expertise in providing storage solutions and vessel refuelling services would particularly benefit from competing in similar tenders, given the structured requirements outlined by the Marine Directorate. This contract exemplifies the demand for niche services that support governmental marine endeavours, offering growth potential for businesses capable of accommodating specific equipment and service needs related to marine protection programmes. With the sector's demand for reliable storage and logistics becoming increasingly evident, businesses well-versed in these areas are positioned for expansion through strategic engagements with public sector contracts.
