The aim of this commission is to update work undertaken in 2022 and provide a more complete and spatially nuanced understanding of the housing system across the National Park. This includes not only the levels and spatial patterns of ineffective stock - such as short-term lets, second homes and empty homes - but also the distribution and availability of open market, private and social rented housing, alongside other key components of the housing system.
