As Beckman Coulter is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the only supplier capable of providing upgrades compatible with the existing Beckman Coulter Cytoflex equipment, it is recommended to award the contract to Beckman Coulter via the NCA route, on the basis that competition is absent for technical reasons.
