### Procurement Information

Based on the technical requirements, the compatibility dependencies with existing Leica systems and the need for protocol continuity, as well as the absence of any alternative supplier capable of providing the required testing capabilities - further supported by the lack of responses to the VEAT notice - we are awarding the contract for the supply of the Leica BOND RX to Leica Microsystems via the NCA route, on the grounds that competition is absent for technical reasons.
