## Summary

East Ayrshire Council is reopening the tender for the provision of Care at Home services aimed at adults with learning disabilities and mental ill health under a flexible framework. The tender is part of the broader category of general public services and is located in East Ayrshire, with services specifically targeting the framework initially launched in April 2025. It is currently in the tender stage under an open procedure, with interested parties required to submit their electronic expressions of interest by 13 March 2026 at noon and final submissions by 16 March 2026 at noon. The tender process is conducted through PCS-Tender, with the title "Reopening of Care at Home for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Ill Health - Flexible Framework (February 2026)".

This tender presents a lucrative opportunity for businesses specialising in social care services, particularly those with experience or interest in providing support to adults with learning disabilities and mental ill health. Qualified service providers have the chance to join an existing flexible framework, which allows new entrants, thus enabling businesses to expand their market reach in the public sector. With electronic payment and ordering capabilities, business operations may also benefit from streamlined processes. Suitable businesses that meet the criteria outlined in the ITT documents and can demonstrate requisite staff qualifications will find this a fitting opportunity to grow their services in East Ayrshire.
