## Summary

The Scottish Government, located in Glasgow, sought expert support for their Governance Hub Online Learning Platform Services, culminating in the award process in April 2026. Aimed at providing a digital platform for public body governance training, the procurement falls under the 'services' category with an open procurement method. The process involved multiple stages, including a tender in February 2026 and an award by April 2026. The contract, valued at £60,000, was awarded to the College Development Network, with provisions for an initial four-year term and possible two-year extension. The project encompasses a wide array of learning modules, ensuring ongoing support and enhancement of governance competencies across Scotland’s public bodies.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses with expertise in digital learning platforms, especially those experienced in content migration and module development. SMEs are well-suited for this tender due to the open competitive nature of the process and aims to encourage diverse participation. With a focus on enhancing governance practices through technology, businesses that can offer innovative, sustainable solutions to maintain and update digital learning materials will find growth opportunities within this contract. Engaging with such public sector contracts can help businesses expand their market reach and establish long-term relationships with government bodies.
