## Summary

South Lanarkshire Council, based in Hamilton, has completed the procurement of educational services under its Educational Services Procured Services Arrangement (PSA). This initiative, categorised under Education, involved multiple lots addressing varied educational service requirements, enabling public schools within the council region to contract with chosen suppliers. Award notices were published on 10 March 2026, marking the transition into the award and contract stage. This open procedure covers a wide range of services including activity-based learning, counselling, cultural education, and professional learning, all of which are based in South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

The multi-lot arrangement under the PSA opens diverse opportunities for businesses in the educational services sector. It is ideal for organisations with expertise in activity-based learning, counselling, cultural education, curriculum development, and virtual learning. Small and medium enterprises are particularly well-suited to compete, as evidenced by the participation of several SMEs such as Rainbow Educational Resources Ltd and Spiral Creative Arts Therapies. Businesses with qualifications in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and those capable of delivering quality services with specific accreditations are encouraged to engage in future procurements, providing potential growth by delivering specialised educational support within the South Lanarkshire region.
