## Summary

The Registers of Scotland (RoS), based in Edinburgh, has awarded a contract for IT infrastructure architect services under the Scottish Government Temporary and Interim Staff (IT) Framework Agreement. This procurement falls within the industry category of supply services of personnel, specifically temporary staff, and is situated in Edinburgh, with hybrid working available within the UK. The contract, which follows a direct procurement method, was awarded on the basis of 80 per cent quality and 20 per cent price to Venesky Brown Ltd, the incumbent supplier, with the contract period spanning from 4th June 2026 to 4th April 2027. The award is valued at £177,360 GBP, with no possibility of extension, and the maximum accepted day rate is £739, inclusive of agency fees. This award also requires successful candidates to have Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks in place.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in personnel supply services, particularly those focusing on temporary IT staffing. As this is a direct award, businesses confident in providing high-quality interim workers can benefit from effectively meeting procurement criteria without the need for extensive competition. Companies that can demonstrate exceptional service delivery within the framework's stipulated conditions, and have infrastructures suitable for hybrid work environments, are ideally positioned to take advantage of such government contract awards. Furthermore, firms experienced in handling security standard checks will find this opportunity aligned with their operational capabilities, enhancing their portfolio within the public sector HR services market.
