## Summary

The public procurement contracting process has been initiated by Prospect Community Housing for the provision of insurance and related services for the year 2026. This includes services for property, legal liability, and other general non-life insurable risks. The contracting authority, based in Edinburgh, UK, invites tenders under the industry category of Housing and Community Amenities. The procurement is in the tender stage, with a deadline for submissions set for 22 April 2026. The procurement method is selective, employing a competitive procedure with negotiation, focusing on electronic submission through the Public Contracts Scotland platform.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for business growth, particularly for insurance brokers and direct insurers with expertise in handling large insurance portfolios and negotiating competitive terms. The competitive procedure requires that businesses demonstrate their capability, financial strength, and experience in delivering similar services to social landlords. The awarded contract will be based on the Most Economically Advantageous Tender, striking a balance between quality and price. The contract, starting from 1 October 2026, offers a significant duration of three years with potential extensions, allowing successful bidders to establish long-term strategic partnerships with Prospect Community Housing. Suitable candidates should reflect strong client relationship management, brokerage expertise, and should align with community value commitments outlined in the invitation to tender documents.
