## Summary

The Scottish Government has awarded the contract titled "DPH-Fund Manager for Alcohol and Drugs fund" to the Corra Foundation, marking the completion of an open procurement process. This contract, classified under general public services, pertains to services involving the management of the Alcohol and Drugs fund for a period of 36 months, from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2029. It is located within the UKM region. The procurement stage has advanced to the award stage, with the contract signed on 3 March 2026. The contract, valued at £4,274,000, entails administrative responsibilities for the fund, in collaboration with the Scottish Government's Drug Policy Division. Although the contract is set to end in 2029, extensions are possible until 2031.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in fund management and administrative services, particularly those focused on public health or social services. Organisations with expertise in managing large-scale funding distribution systems and stakeholder coordination will find this opportunity advantageous for expanding their portfolio in governmental projects. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) like the Corra Foundation are well-suited to compete for such contracts, given their nimbleness and ability to deliver specialised services tailored to public sector needs. The open procurement process encourages wide participation, potentially increasing competitiveness and innovation in fund management solutions.
