## Summary

Glasgow City Council is inviting bids for a service framework aimed at the inspection, maintenance, and repair of physical education equipment, outdoor equipment, and play areas across its educational establishments and community gyms. The procurement is under the category of general public services and is located in Glasgow, UK. This tender is in the procurement stage, specifically a tender process, with an open procedure set for electronic submission by the deadline of 27th April 2026. The total contract value is estimated at £360,000 GBP, and the framework agreement is anticipated to last four years. Glasgow Sheriff Court is identified as the review body for this contract, providing an additional layer of oversight.

This tender represents a favourable opportunity for businesses specialising in equipment maintenance and repair services, particularly those with experience in educational and recreational settings. The framework requires a sole supplier, offering substantial growth potential for businesses that can meet or exceed the minimum financial and technical criteria set by the council. With a focus on quality, price, and community benefits, businesses that demonstrate strong financial stability, possess relevant insurance credentials, and have a proven track record in similar contracts will find themselves well-positioned to compete. Additionally, the requirement for community benefits aligns with businesses seeking to enhance their social responsibility footprint, thus broadening their growth prospects in public sector procurement.
