The Scottish Ministers invite tenders to provide vessel charter services for the retrieval of scientific equipment in Scottish waters on behalf of The Marine Directorate - Science, Evidence, Digital and Data (MD-SEDD) portfolio. The tender will be for one recovery trip between 17th August 2026 and 05th September 2026 plus 3 additional days in case of bad weather (to 8th September). These dates are flexible and can be finalised at the contract award stage although they will need to be close to the before mentioned dates. The work will involve retrieving underwater fish tracking equipment, which may include cetacean echolocation detectors.

Renewal: An optional 3 days has been set aside for weather issues.
