## Summary

East Renfrewshire Council is planning a procurement process to appoint a suitably experienced organisation to conduct an independent review of the 'Enjoy East Ren' initiative, with the aim of evaluating and ensuring best value delivery in line with definitions set by Audit Scotland. This procurement falls under the 'General public services' industry category and is located in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. As of 22nd June 2026, the process is in the planning stage and is announced through a Prior Information Notice to notify the market of the Council's forthcoming requirement. Interested parties are encouraged to submit expressions of interest by 12 noon, Friday 3rd July, to engage in early dialogue regarding their potential involvement. A subsequent notice is expected on 20th July 2026.

This tender provides a great opportunity for businesses with expertise in conducting reviews and assessments of public service delivery models. Companies specialising in consultancy, particularly those with experience in leisure and cultural sectors, stand to benefit and are encouraged to participate. This independent review aims to provide recommendations for improvements across various areas such as resource utilisation, performance and outcomes, governance, and value for money in public service operations. Businesses with a strong track record in similar projects, an innovative approach to methodology, and a proactive stakeholder engagement strategy may find this tender suitable for leveraging their capabilities and expanding their service portfolio within the public sector.

This Prior Information Notice is issued to inform the market of the Council's forthcoming requirement and to support early market awareness. It is not a call for competition and does not constitute a commitment to proceed with a procurement.
