The Supplier shall ensure access to wheelchair accessible vehicles and shall maintain sufficient fleet and dispatch capacity to respond to fluctuations and peaks in demand. Renewal: Replacing current local contract Assisted Transport (Private Ambulance) NHS Fife requires the provision of a high-quality, safe, responsive, and sustainable assisted transport service under Lot 1 to support, amongst other service requirements: - Renal patients requiring scheduled dialysis appointments across NHS Fife locations. - Discharge and ad hoc transport required for safe discharge. Provides assisted transport for patients who require a higher level of support than standard taxi provision, but who do not require an emergency ambulance response.
