## Summary

North Ayrshire Council, alongside South Ayrshire and East Ayrshire Councils, is initiating a procurement process for a Specialist Huntington's Disease Service, aimed at providing comprehensive care and support across Ayrshire. The process is currently in the planning stage, with a Prior Information Notice released to gather market insights. This opportunity focuses on health services and is seeking input for service provision to individuals and families affected by Huntington's Disease. Interested parties are encouraged to submit a market engagement questionnaire by 31 July 2026, which will inform service design and procurement strategies. The service delivery will include a range of support options and will collaborate with existing NHS and social care services. Future notices are expected by 1 October 2026.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in health services, particularly those with experience in providing care and support for neurodegenerative conditions. Companies capable of delivering holistic care solutions that include information and advice, patient care coordination, and support across various platforms will find this procurement particularly relevant. The aim is to engage businesses that can enhance service accessibility and effectiveness through innovative approaches, potentially expanding their operations and impact within the health sector in Ayrshire. This is an excellent opportunity for organisations seeking to partner with local councils and contribute to public health initiatives.
